One step further: SmartStore 2000 Professional

After the successful startup with their eCommerce-Software SmartStore 2000 Express
(within the first three months there were more than 6000 licences registered) SmartStore AG introduces their new eCommerce-Softwaresuite
under the code-name SUEZ at this year's SYSTEMS exhibition in Munich. SmartStore SUEZ is the first and unique eCommerce-Solution world-wide,
that builds up on the open industry-standard SOAP. At first, the prototype of SmartStore 2000 Professional will be presented.
The Professional-Edition offers mid-sized businesses an inexpensive entry into professional "Business to Customer" and "Business to Business"
applications on the internet. Numerous modules are already contained in this version. Here the most important features:
The database-application Accountmanager for administration of customer-data, the Promotion-Manager for price - and advertising-actions, in the
Profiles-Manager,that enables a personalization of structure and content of your catalog depending on target-group profiles. The Marketing
Center, which gives you the opportunity to control newsletters and eMail-activities and the Mobile Center that integrates SMS and WAP. In
addition, SmartStore 2000 Professional puts modules and interfaces for disposal which integrate business-processes, like ERP-systems and
distribution, as well as extensive analysis-tools and the support through the SmartStore Webservices.
SmartStore 2000 Professional is the first development of the new SUEZ-software-suite and puts its philosophy into practice: The suite simplifies
the displacement of all possible business-processes onto the web and supports the realization of any business-models.
Because of the modular design, all SUEZ-products can be easily integrated with open standards into existing business-processes. The
user-friendly interface and the extensive functions guarantee fast Time-to-Market.
Thanks to new and innovative technologies like XML and SOAP (Simple Object Access Protocol), all SUEZ-modules are extremely interoperative
in most networks. XML and SOAP enables a seamless integration of any applications and services over platform - and system-borders away.
ERP-Solutions - and Knowledge Management Systems, merchandise-economy and other Back-Office-Applications can be used irrespective of the
